A much more subtle pepper than black pepper. White pepper can be used liberally in all types of recipes.
Mix it into mashed potatoes or on top of pasta. It’s great in a creamy hollandaise sauce, and can also be a nice touch in rich Alfredo sauce. Use it to finish white chicken chili or corn chowder.
Mix it in at the end of cooking time as if it cooks too long it can become bitter.
