Smoked Queso Blanco Dip


6-8 ounces heavy cream
1/2 pound white American cheese, chopped into small pieces
4 ounces mozzarella cheese, grated or chopped small
1 4 oz. can chopped green chiles
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cumin
2 tsp. Nashville Spice Company Mesquite Lime Seasoning


Pre-heat smoker to 230ºF. In a large cast iron skillet or baking dish, combine all ingredients. Put on the smoker over indirect heat for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Wait until the cheese melts and bubbles, then taste and adjust seasonings to your taste. Serve with tortilla chips, tacos, or your favorite queso dipper.

Can also be done on the stovetop, in the oven, or on the grill!
