Here’s a nice and easy fresh peach recipe for dessert that comes together quickly. With it’s warm spices, bubbly filling and the crunch of the crumble this makes a delicious treat, especially when guests come for a visit. It’s sweet crunch brings back memories of the good old days before homemade desserts every Sunday became more of a thing of the past.
Crumble Ingredients
1 C brown sugar
1 C quick cooking, rolled oats
11/2 C flour
1 C unsalted butter, softened
1 Tbs Nashville Spice Company Organic Vietnamese Cinnamon Powder
1/2 tsp Nashville Spice Company Ground Nutmeg
Filling Ingredients
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
5-6 medium peaches, peeled and sliced
3 Tbs all-purpose flour
1 tsp Nashville Spice Company Organic Vietnamese Cinnamon Powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a 9”x13” pan with cooking spray
In a medium bowl, combine ingredients for the crumble. Using a fork or pastry cutter, work ingredients together until they become crumbs.
In a large bowl, combine peaches and vanilla extract, toss to coat. Add rest of filling ingredients and toss together until peaches are coated.
Arrange peaches in baking dish, completely covering bottom of pan. Sprinkle crumble evenly over the top of peaches. Bake at 45 minutes. Serve warm.
