Grilled Harissa Chicken

Make a paste with our Nashville Spice Company Harissa Spice and olive oil, coat the chicken with the paste and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight. The smokiness of the paprika along with a little heat from the chilies really intensifies the flavor profile of the chicken.

 

Ingredients

3 Tbs Nashville Spice Company Harissa Spice

2 Tbs olive oil

1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, lightly pounded

1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced

1/2 lb grape tomatoes, halved

1/4 C Nashville Spice Company Dried Cilantro

 

Directions

In a mortar or small bowl, combine the Nashville Spice Company Harissa Spice and olive oil, blend into a paste

Spread half of mixture over chicken, cover and refrigerate 4 hours, up to overnight

Combine onions, tomatoes, cilantro and remaining Nashville Spice Company Harissa Spice paste. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Preheat grill to medium-high, grill chicken until cooked through.

Serve with tomatoes and onion.
