Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

This is a recipe that’s fast, made with relatively inexpensive ingredients (that you might already have most of), and produces a meal that feels a lot fancier and harder to make than it actually is.

Ingredients

4 center cut pork loin chops, 3/4-inch thick

2 Tbs light brown sugar

Nashville Spice Company Fine Sea Salt, to taste

Nashville Spice Company Pepper, to taste

2 tsp Nashville Spice Company Apple Pie Spice

2 Tbs unsalted butter

2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced

¼ C golden raisins

Directions

Preheat oven to 200°F. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.

Place chops on preheated grill. Cook pork chops about 3 minutes per side, or until done. Place chops in baking dish, cover and place in 200°F oven.

In a skillet, butter, add apples, brown sugar, raisins and Nashville Spice Company Apple Pie Spice. Cover `and cook until apples are soft, stirring frequently.

When apples are softened, remove from pan and reduce sauce until slightly thickened. Add apples back to sauce.

Remove pork chops from oven. Spoon caramel apple mixture over pork chops. Serve!
