Ingredients:
1 egg
1 tablespoon Nashville Spice Company Orange Pepper Seasoning
½ cup ground almonds
1 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese (for coating)
4 tilapia filets
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ cup fresh grated parmesan cheese (for topping)
Nashville Spice Company dried parsley
4 lemon wedges
Instructions:
- In a small bowl beat the egg and orange pepper seasoning and set aside
- In a shallow dish combine ground almonds and 1 cup grated parmesan cheese until blended and set aside.
- Dust tilapia filets with flour and shake off the excess
- Dip tilapia filets in egg/orange pepper mixture and press into the almond mix
- In a large skillet heat olive oil over medium high heat
- Add tilapia filets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown
- Turn heat down to medium
- Sprinkle the rest of the parmesan cheese on top of the tilapia filets, cover the pan and cook until cheese has melted (about 4 minutes)
- Serve tilapia with parsley places and lemon wedges
