SPICE OF THE MONTH - Flippin' The Bird

Nashville Spice Company Flippin' The Bird Seasoning is hand blended from California paprika, onion, chili powder, lemon, granulated honey, sage, marjoram, black pepper and celery seed.

It is a magical combination of spicy flavor but without the heat. And it's a perfect salt free seasoning as well - ah the best of both worlds!

This seasoning is very versatile, not only can you use it for grilling, it is wonderful on baked chicken wings, scrambled eggs and roasted oven chicken. If you are a smoker, try it next time you smoke a chicken or two.

As with many of our Nashville Spice Company blends, we recommend using 1 tablespoon of seasoning per pound of chicken. You can always add more if you want more flavor. Enjoy!

RECIPE OF THE MONTH - Roasted Chicken and Vegetables

One Pan Roasted Chicken and Vegetables...

This is a quick and easy dish and can be on the table in less than 30 minutes. Keeping the chicken pieces small and the vegetable pieces larger ensures that everything is fully cooked.

Combining flavors brings an herby flavor profile with sweet and citrusy undertones from our Nashville Spice Company Flippin' The Bird as well as a mellow, rich flavor of our Nashville Spice Company Italian Seasoning.


  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 Tablespoon Nashville Spice Company Flippin The Bird
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 zucchini or 2 carrots, chopped
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper and 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup broccoli florets or brussels sprouts
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nashville Spice Company salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Nashville Spice Company Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Nashville Spice Company Italian Seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nashville Spice Company Domestic Paprika


  1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
  2. Chop all the vegetables into large pieces.
  3. On a clean cutting board, cut chicken breasts into small, bitesize pieces or use full size thighs.
  4. In a bowl, add chicken pieces and Nashville Spice Company Flippin' The Bird Seasoning, combine to coat all pieces.
  5. Place chicken and veggies on a sheet pan.
  6. Add olive oil, salt, pepper, Nashville Spice Company Italian Pepper and Nashville Spice Company Domestic Paprika, toss to combine.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the vegetables are slightly charred and the chicken is cooked.

Serves: 4
