Austin Steakhouse Rub
A great blend of coarse black pepper, roasted minced garlic, onion flakes, shallots, coarse sea salt, oregano, red pepper flakes and ancho flakes.
Rubs are used to add flavor and texture to steaks. Go ahead, be generous with this rub. Use about 2 tablespoons for each pound of steak. Brush the steak with some oil (we recommend a quality olive oil) before applying this rub. Rubs work best when applied in advance. Up to 2-3 days ahead of grill time is ideal.
